Do you pride yourself on knowing how to make some great tasting chili? Do you think your recipe is great…we want you to join us for a fun new Chili Cook-Off competition and share your winning flavor and at the same time you will be helping to support a local charity.

We are inviting all “Chili Heads” to the upper lot at the Poinsettia Pavilion to participate in GMM Ministries’ Inaugural Cowboy Chili Cook-Off Competition on Saturday, September 18th, 2010. Your participation will showcase your great cooking skills and benefit those in need throughout the county.

Top Honors will be selected by an experienced panel of professional chili judges, anchored by nationally recognized chili cook-off judge Greg Dunn and appropriate awards will be given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.

In true GMM tradition, you will be provided rustic, but paved, sections of the parking lot to set-up your chili kitchen. We need you to gather a team (minimum 5 man teams) of lilly livered, skunk bellied, swill drinking chili loving men to prepare at least 10 quarts of your gosh darn best chili. A $25 entry fee per team member is required.

When: Saturday, September 18, 2010 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (Team setup starts @ 7:00 a.m.)
Where: Poinsettia Pavilion Upper Parking Lot
