  • Featuring the GMM Band - The God’s Manly Man Band (aka Pentasonic) is a 5 man instrumental band that has been part of GMM since 2002. The group is made up of Gordon Jenewine on keys, Tom Etchart on Bass, Joe Horswell on saxophone, Jerry Peters on drums and Dan Patterson on guitars. When not playing in some of the local churches, the band enjoys playing jazz and fusion style music at local venues throughout the county. Each of these men shares a high commitment to musical excellence “for Christ and His Kingdom”. Bringing together the richness of their musical talents and an environment that encourages heartfelt participation, the worship time at the GMM event always promises to be a memorable experience.




    • • So… What Happens? The Entertainment and Activities are second to none with some Crazy Stage Antics and the Wildest of Skits that will bring Lots of Laughs! The TEAM COMPETITION with the challenging Manly Man Relays. There are the “famous” Fireside Chats, Incredible Music, and so much more make the program complete! This promises to be the very best money you will ever invest in YOURSELF or a FRIEND! The whole weekend is designed for YOU! Watch the event introduction…

    • Some Very Special Events - Foo Foo Nite (Fri. Nite @ 5pm)… Each Tent/Team to set up & provide a special Foo Foo (Appetizer) tasted by all men and major points awarded for the Top 5 Foo Foo’s. (Bring your own goodies!) Special Music!! A TOGA PARTY… Bring your sheets & what ever extra as GMM will have a Huge Toga Party!

    • What Stuff Do I Bring? Please remember to bring the normal stuff: A Sleeping Bag, Pillow, Beach Wear, Protective Head Gear, Long Pants or Leather Chaps (helps to avoid road rash), Athletic Supporter (athletic cup would be a good call), T-Shirts, Clean Underwear (optional), Tennis Shoes & Clean “Sockies”, Your Favorite Hat, Swimming Suit, Sunglasses (for those of us who are “COOL”), Sunscreen (for you wimps!), Toiletries (make sure you have your favorite toothbrush), etc. Make sure you bring your own LOUNGE CHAIR! (very important!) and your own Bible.

    • IMPORTANT INFO - We are in a new location this year and our accommodation options have changed. The GMM board felt that some of our “Manly Men” participants were going soft on us taking refuge in air conditioned cabins, with hotel like bedding, indoor plumbing, and running water. Let me say in one word about what we decided to do this year with those air conditioned cabins . . . “GONE!” Your accommodation options this year are:

    • Option 1 - Provide your own R.V. (need advance notice as spaces are limited)
    • Option 2 - Provide your own Tent Trailer (need advance notice as spaces are limited)
    • Option 3 - Bring your own 4-6 man tents
    • Option 4 - Sleep in a Manly Man 4-6 man provided tent (at your own risk)
